Hi Everyone,
The joyous time of Christmas is upon us again and we have so much to celebrate and be thankful for! This past year has had some very special feelings and memories attached to it that make this year’s Christmas even more relevant and meaningful. Our daughter Lani just celebrated her 1 year old birthday on December 9th but it almost seems like we have been in awe of this little baby since the day we knew Amber was pregnant and even more so as we have watched her grow throughout the year. Amidst the giggles, smiles and oh so cute noises and now as she is learning to walk and discover new things and skills, I’ve come to realize to an even greater extent and appreciation, just how much our God loves and adores us! It’s truly amazing! And when you really think about it, the love we feel for our loved ones is still only a fraction of the love God has in His heart for each of us. It’s no wonder that Christmas is such a joyous time of celebration!
So open those presents, break out the cider and enjoy this wonderful time with family and friends but don’t forget that it’s all in celebration of this baby Jesus who loves us so dearly and who cares so deeply that He would come on Earth to live His life so sacrificially. Thank you Lord Jesus! We love You and praise You as You continue to reveal Your heart to us through such precious things like a little baby. We’re thankful, grateful and so incredibly blessed!
